2008 Stimulus

In 2007 Congress passed a tax refund known as the economic stimulus rebate. The amount given to each tax-payer was determined based on their 2007 tax return information.

If you did not receive a rebate in 2008 this is most likely because you either did not file a return in 2007 or were ineligible for some reason.

In 2009 President Obama issued a Stimulus Rebate that was applied directly onto the 2008 tax return.
